Process of Apple Cinnamon Rolls without Butter Recipe
Firstly, to prepare the filling, peel the apples and grate them.
Put the grated apples in to a pan and add the sugar and cook until the apples let their juice out and again absorb.
After the apples get tender, add the cinnamon and chopped walnut and mix them.
Then turn off the stove and leave it to cool at the room temperature.
To prepare the apple cinnamon rolls dough, combine the sugar and the egg in a deep bowl.
Add the vegetable oil, yoghurt, milk, vanilla, baking powder and mix.
Add the flour slowly and knead.
Get a soft but not sticky dough.
While applying the recipe, I used 3,5 cups of flour and a tablespoon more.
Take walnut size pieces from the dough and roll them in your palm.
Then place them on a toast grill and press on them lightly and make them larger.
Place little amount of filling in the center of the dough and fold the dough in half, enclosing the filling, and press the edges together firmly and make an oval shaped cookie.
Place the shaped cookies on a baking sheet in to a tray by placing the closed edges underneath.
Bake them in the preheated oven at 170°C until they get lightly brown.
After baking, take them out from the oven and leave them to cool in the tray.
When they get cool enough, sprinkle powdered sugar on the cookies.
