Apple Rolls Recipe
These apple rolls are always great sweet treats. You need only a cup of tea to enjoy the sweet side of apples with the recipe!
For the dough;
- 1 teacup of granulated sugar (the teacup is 110 ml.),
- 1 teacup of vegetable oil,
- 1 teacup of warm milk,
- 1 teacup of warm water,
- 1 egg,
- 1 packet of instant yeast (10 grams),
- 5,5 cups all purpose flour (the cup is 200 ml.).
For the filling;
- 3 apples,
- 1 teacup of granulated sugar,
- 1 coffee spoon of powdered cinnamon.
For the top;
- Powdered sugar.
Process of Apple Rolls Recipe
Firstly, to prepare the dough, put all the ingredients except for the flour and the yeast in a deep bowl and mix them.
Add the yeast and add the flour slowly and knead well.
Get a soft but not sticky dough.
Cover the dough with a clean cloth and leave it for an hour.
To prepare the filling, peel the apples and grate them and put them in a pan.
Add the sugar and cook until the apples absorb the juice.
After they absorb the juice, add the cinnamon powder and remove it from the stove and leave it to get cool at the room temperature.
Divide the dough in 2 pieces and roll them.
Roll out the first dough piece by using a rolling pin on a plain surface.
Cut the rolled out dough firstly 4 triangles and then cut the four triangles in half and finally get 16 triangle dough.
Put the filling on the large edges and roll up then place them in a greased tray.
Continue with the other dough.
And leave the apple rolls in the tray to rise before baking for an hour.
After an hour, bake them in the preheated oven at 180°C until they get lightly brown.
When you take them out from the oven, leave them to cool at the room temperature.
Then place them in a serving plate and sprinkle some powdered sugar on them.
