Bow Tie Pastries Recipe
Here is how to make bow tie pastry at home in easy steps. They are very delicious bow tie pastries prepared with a special sauce. Their shape also makes them look perfect.
- 2 phyllo pastry sheets.
To brush ;
- 1 teacup of vegetable oil,
- 1 tablespoon of starch,
- One tablespoon of all purpose flour,
- 1 coffee spoon of vinegar.
For the filling;
- 200 grams feta or curd cheese,
For the top;
- Egg yolk,
- Sesame seeds.
Process of Bow Tie Pastries Recipe
Firstly, to prepare the sauce, combine the vegetable oil, starch, flour and vinegar in a deep bowl.
And to prepare the filling, mix the feta and chopped parsley in a bowl.
Lay one of the phyllo dough sheet on a plain surface and cut the edges and get a square phyllo sheet.
Cut the square phyllo sheet in four squares.
Brush the sauce on these small squares.
Make the two tips of the square come together in the center by pushing .
Place some filling on the two sides and enclose the filling by covering the edges to the center.
Then make strips by using the phyllo sheet pieces you cut to make square and brush the sauce on the strip.
Wrap the strip in the centro of the shaped dough to make a bow tie shape.
Continue with the other square phyllo sheet.
Finally, place the bow tie pastries on a baking sheet in a tray.
Brush the egg yolk on them and sprinkle some sesame seeds on the strips you wrap.
Bake the bow tie pastries in the preheated oven at 180°C until they get golden brown.
After baking, serve hot.
