Baked Meatballs with Rice Recipe
These baked meatballs with rice are a great choice for a dinner.
- 2 medium size potatoes,
- 1 – 2 tomatoes,
- 1 red bell pepper.
To prepare the meatballs;
- 500 grams ground beef,
- 4 tablespoons of rice,
- 1 onion,
- 1 red bell pepper,
- 2 pinch of parsley,
- 1,5 – 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs,
- 1 egg,
- Crushed red pepper,
For the sauce;
- 2 cups of water,
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste,
- 1 coffee spoon of salt.
The cup size: 200 ml.
Process of Baked Meatballs with Rice Recipe
Firstly, put the ground beef in a deep bowl,
Add onion, red bell pepper, parsley chopped by using chopper.
Then add the rice, egg, breadcrumbs, salt ant spices and knead.
Wash the potatoes and peel them then slice them lengthwise (do not make the slices thick).
Take walnut sized pieces from the meatball mix and make them oval sized by using your hands.
Then place the meatballs and the potato slices orderly as one slice potato and one meatball into a large rectangular pyrex.
To prepare the sauce, mix the paste, salt and the water in a bowl.
Pour the sauce on the meatballs with rice.
To decorate, place the pepper and tomato slices on the meatballs (If you want, you can place the tomato and pepper slices after you cook the meatballs for a little time).
Bake the meatballs into the preheated oven at 180°C until the meatballs get brown.
After baking, serve the dish hot.
