Baked Pasta (Tastes Like The Turkish Boiled Borek) Recipe
Let them eat “baked pasta” for dinner: Layers of pasta join parsley and cheese in a fresh take on lasagna that is as easy to make as it is to enjoy eating.
- 1 packet pasta,
- 3 phyllo pastries,
- 1 cup of cottage cheese,
- 1 pinch of parsley.
For the sauce;
- 1 cup of milk (200 ml.),
- 1 cup of yogurt (200 ml.),
- 3 eggs,
- 1 cup of vegetable oil (200 ml.).

To make the baked pasta, firstly, fill a large pot 2/3 of the way with water and boil it. Add salt after it boils and then add the pasta. Boil the pasta until it gets softener than as usual.
Turn off the stove and empty the entire pot of pasta into a strainer. Then run them under cold water. Put them into the pot again. Add the cheese and parsley and mix. Then leave the mixture to cool.
For the sauce, mix the eggs, yoghurt, milk and the vegetable oil into a deep bowl. Pour the half of the sauce onto the pasta and stir.
Now pick up a sheet of phyllo pastry and put it into the bottom of the tray. (some will lay over the edge of tray). Pour the half of the pasta in it and spread.
Place the second sheet of phylla pastry on it. Pour the sauced pasta left on it and place again the last sheet of phyllo pastry on.
Brush the sauce on the edges of the phyllo pastry out of the tray. Then cover edges on your pasta cake.
Bake it into the oven preheated to 180°C until golden brown.
