Baked Pastry Desserts Recipe
It is very delicious dessert, serve it after your meal. Preparing is very easy and it requires a very short time. Here is the my baked pastry desserts recipe.
For the dough;
- 1 teacup of vegetable oil (110 ml.),
- 1 teacup of yogurt,
- 2 eggs,
- 1 packet of vanilla (5 grams),
- 2 packets of baking powder (10 + 10 grams),
- 3,5 cups of all purpose flour (the cup is: 200 ml.).
For the syrup;
- 4 cups of granulated sugar,
- 4,5 cups of water.
For the top;
- Clotted cream, walnut, hazelnut, grated coconut, etc.
Process of Baked Pastry Desserts Recipe
For the beginning, to prepare the dough, combine all the ingredients except for the flour and the baking powder in a deep bowl.
Add the baking powder and add the flour slowly and knead well.
Get a soft but not sticky dough.
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and leave it for 10 or 15 minutes.
Take walnut sized pieces from the dough and roll them in your palm.
Place the dough balls in a tray by leaving space between each pastry balls.
Bake them in the preheated oven at 180°C until they get golden brown.
While baking, prepare the syrup.
Mix the sugar and the water in a pot until the sugar dissolves.
Do not boil the syrup.
After baking, take the pastries out from the oven and then pour the syrup on them.
Place the pastries in the hot oven again and leave them in the oven for 5 minutes.
Then take them out from the oven again and leave them to cool and absorb the syrup.
After they get cool enough, decorate the dessert how you like.
