- 3 or 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour (the cup size is 200 ml.),
- 1 packet of dry yeast (10 grams),
- 1 coffee spoon of salt,
- 75 grams margarine,
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar,
- 1 1/2 cups of warm milk (300 ml.).
Process of Basic Homemade Bread Recipe
For the basic homemade bread, stir 3 cups sifted flour and 1 cup dry yeast in a deep bowl. Add 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 coffee spoon salt on it. Add the margarine at a room temperature and warm milk (not hot or not cold) gradually into the mixture and knead it until get a soft dough.
Cut the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll and place them in the greased baking tray. Make a scratch lengthwise through the middle. Cover them with a clean cloth and leave in a warm place until doubled.
Bake them at 180°C until they get golden brown. And then let them cool down completely before slicing.
