Borek with Ground Beef Recipe
Here we are with another borek recipe! This is as delicious as the previous borek recipes. Try this easy to make borek with ground beef.
- 3 phyllo pastry sheets.
- 1 teacup of water,
- 1 teacup of vegetable oil.
For the filling;
- 100 grams ground beef,
- 1 big onion,
- 1 green pepper,
- Black pepper,
- Red pepper flakes,
- 1 red bell pepper,
- 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
For the top;
- 1 egg yolk,
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil,
- One tablespoon of water,
Process of Borek with Ground Beef Recipe
For the beginning, to prepare the filling, chop the peppers and the onion and put the vegetable oil in a pan.
And cook the chopped peppers and the onion by stirring until they get tender.
Add the ground beef and continue to cook by stirring.
Add the spices and stir then turn off the stove and leave it to cool.
Mix the vegetable oil and the water in a bowl.
Lay one of the phyllo pastry sheet on a plain surface.
Pour 4 or 5 tablespoons of the vegetable oil and the water mixture on it and spread.
Wrap the phyllo sheet in half (a half moon shape).
Cut the half moon shaped dough in 4 triangles.
Place some filling on the long edges of the triangles and roll.
Place the filled and rolled triangle sheets in a greased tray.
Continue with the other phyllo sheets.
Mix the egg yolk, vegetable oil and the water in a bowl and brush the mixture on the phyllo pastries.
Then sprinkle sesame on them.
Bake the borek with ground beef in the preheated oven at 180°C until they get golden brown.
After baking, serve hot.
If you want, you can prepare the borek and save them in the freezer for your guests.
