Bulgur Balls with Yogurt Sauce Recipe
One of the my favorite snacks. The kneading process is very important for this bulgur balls with yogurt sauce recipe. Because if the kneading is not done properly, bulgur balls can be dispersed in liquid.

Ingredients;
- 2 cups of fine bulgur (the cup size is 200 ml.),
- 1 1/2 cups of hot water (300 ml.),
- 2 tablespoons of dried mint,
- 1 onion (grated),
- 1 egg white,
- 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour,
- Salt.
For the yogurt sauce;
- 1 bowl of yogurt (not juicy),
- 2-3 cloves of garlic,
- Salt.
For the top;
- 2 tablespoons of butter,
- Red pepper flakes.
Process of Bulgur Balls with Yogurt Sauce Recipe
Firstly, put the fine bulgur in a bowl and add the hot water .
Cover the lid and leave it until the bulgur gets tender.
Peel the onion and grate then add the grated onion in the bowl.
Add the egg white, salt and the flour.
Then knead well by adding gradually some water for 10 minutes.
Take walnut size pieces from the mixture and make oval shaped balls.
Place them in a plate.
Pour some water in a pot and add some salt then leave it to boil.
Add the bulgur balls in the pot and boil them.
Then place the bulgur balls in a serving plate.
To prepare the yogurt sauce, mix the ingredients with a wire beater in a deep bowl until smooth.
Melt the butter in a small pan and add the red pepper flakes in it.
When the bulgur balls get warm pour the yogurt sauce on them and add the butter sauce then serve.
