Cheese Filled Phyllo Pastry Recipe
Make this delicious and easy to make cheese filled phyllo pastry for a simple kids’ lunchbox treat or yummy breakfast or brunch snack.

Ingredients;
- 5 phyllo pastry sheets.
For the sauce;
- 1 cup of milk (200 ml.),
- 1 cup of yogurt,
- 200 ml. vegetable oil (1 cup),
- 2 eggs,
- 1 packet of baking powder (10 grams).
For the filling;
- 350 grams feta cheese or curd cheese,
- A pinch of parsley,
- Red pepper flakes (if you desire).
Process of Cheese Filled Phyllo Pastry Recipe
Firstly, to prepare the filling, mix the cheese and the chopped parsley in a small bowl.
To prepare the sauce, combine all the ingredients it requires in a bowl.
Lay the phyllo sheets on a plain surface (one on the top of the other).
Divide them in half by using a knife.
Brush the sauce on a half sheet and sprinkle the filling and roll the sheet.
Place the rolled sheet on a baking sheet in a tray.
Continue with the other sheets.
Then cut it how you like and brush the sauce left on the pastry in the tray.
Bake it in the preheated oven at 180°C until the cheese filled phyllo pastry gets golden brown.
Serve hot.
If you want, you can prepare the pastry the day before and leave it in the refrigerator for one night.
