Chocolate Cake with Cream Recipe
It is both a cake and a dessert. You can serve it with coffee or tea to your guests and also as a dessert after dinner. Give this wet chocolate cake with cream recipe a try.
For the cake;
- 1 cup of granulated sugar,
- 3 eggs,
- 1 cup of milk,
- 1 cup of vegetable oil,
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder,
- 1 packet of baking powder (10 grams),
- 1 packet of vanilla (5 grams),
- 2 cups of all purpose flour (the cup is 200 ml.).
For the syrup;
- 2 cups of water,
- 1 cup of granulated sugar.
For the cream;
- 4 cups of milk,
- 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour,
- 2 tablespoons of rice flour,
- 1 teacup of granulated sugar.
For the top;
- Grated chocolate,
- Grated coconut
The cup size is 200 ml.
The teacup size id 110 ml.
Process of Chocolate Cake with Cream Recipe
Firstly, in a medium pan, add the sugar, water and bring it to boil and when it starts to boil, simmer for 5 minutes more.
Then remove it from the heat and leave it to cool.
To prepare the chocolate cake mixture, mix the eggs and sugar in a deep bowl until it gets foamy.
Add the vegetable oil, milk and vanilla and mix.
Add the cocoa powder and flour and continue to mix.
At the end add the baking powder and mix.
Pour the mixture into a large greased rectangular pyrex.
Bake it in the preheated oven at 160°C for 30 minutes.
Then check the cake by using a toothpick and take it out from the oven.
Leave it to cool.
When it gets cool enough, make holes by using a toothpick.
And then pour the cold syrup on the cake and leave it to absorb the syrup.
Put all the ingredients to make cream in a pot and mix until gets smooth by using a wire beater.
Then cook it by stirring constantly until it gets thick.
Pour the cream on the cake.
After your chocolate cake with cream gets cool at the room temperature, sprinkle some grated chocolate and grated coconut on it.
Finally leave it to cool in the fridge for 2 or 3 hours then serve.
