Cinnamon Apple Puff Pastry Recipe
Try this delicious, quick and easy cinnamon apple puff pastry recipe for a tasty treat.
- 5 puff pastry sheets.
For the filling;
- 4 apples,
- 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar,
- 1 coffee spoon of cinnamon,
- 1 palm of crushed walnut or hazelnut (If you do not desire,do not add).
For the top;
- Egg white,
- Granulated sugar,
Process of Cinnamon Apple Puff Pastry Recipe
Firstly, to prepare the filling, peel the apples and grate the apple and put them in a pan.
Add the sugar and cook by stirring until it absorbs the juice again.
Then remove it from the stove and add a coffee spoon of cinnamon and if you desire add the crushed walnut or hazelnut.
Then leave it to cool.
Divide the puff pastry sheets in half and get 10 square puff pastry sheets.
Roll out the sheets on a slightly floured plain surface.
Place some filling in the centre of the sheets and enclose the filling.
And press the edges together firmly and make an oval shaped dough.
Continue with the other puff pastry sheets.
Dip the shaped puff pastries firstly in the egg white then in the mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
Place them in a greased tray or on a baking sheet in a tray.
Make lines on the puff pastries by using a knife.
Bake the cinnamon apple puff pastry in the preheated oven at 180°C until they get golden brown.
After baking, serve when they get cool enough.
