Couscous Pilaf with Tomato Recipe
A delicious and simple to make couscous pilaf with tomato. That’s perfect as a side dish or a meal on its own.

Ingredients;
- 1 cup of couscous,
- 1 fresh green pepper,
- 2 grated tomatoes,
- 1 fresh red pepper,
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste (not fully),
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 1 coffee spoon of pepper paste,
- 1 tablespoon of butter,
- Salt,
- 2 cups of hot water
The cup is 200 ml.
Process of Couscous Pilaf with Tomato Recipe
Firstly, wash the peppers, take out their cores out and chop them finely.
Wash the tomatoes and grate them (If you want, you can use tomato sauce instead of grated tomato).
Heat the butter and the vegetable oil in a pot and add the couscous.
Cook by stirring for 1 minute.
Then add the peppers and continue to cooking by stirring.
Add the grated tomatoes add the hot water and add the salt.
Leave it to boil.
When the pilaf starts to boil, cover the lid and continue to cook over low heat.
While cooking, sometimes stir (do not let the pilaf stick to the pot).
When the couscous absorbs the water and gets tender enough, turn off the stove and leave it for 5 or 10 minutes before serving.
Then serve the couscous pilaf hot.
