Ingredients;

For the dough;

  • 1 teacup of warm water,
  • 1 teacup of warm milk,
  • 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar,
  • 1 teacup of vegetable oil,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 1 packet of vanilla (5 grams),
  • 1 packet of instant yeast (10 grams),
  • 4,5 – 5 cups of all purpose.

For the cream filling;

  • 3 cups of milk,
  • 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar,
  • 1 tablespoon of starch,
  • 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour (2 full spoons),
  • 1 packet of vanilla (5 grams),
  • 1 packet of whipped cream powder (75 grams).

For the top;

  • 1 packet of powdered chocolate sauce (128 grams),
  • 2 cups of milk,
  • Crushed walnut or hazelnut, grated coconut or pistachio powder.

The cup is: 200 ml.

The teacup is: 110 ml.

Process of Cream Stuffed Buns with Chocolate Sauce Recipe

Firstly, to prepare the dough, combine the warm milk, warm water, vegetable oil, egg, sugar and vanilla in a deep bowl.
Add the yeast and add the flour slowly and knead well.
Get a soft but not sticky dough.
Cover the dough and leave it to rise for 30 minutes.

Take walnut sized pieces from the dough and roll them in your palm then place them on a baking sheet in to a tray.
Cover the tray with a clean cloth and leave them to rise for more 15 minutes before baking.
Bake them in the preheated oven to 180°C until they get golden brown.
After taking them out from the oven, leave them to cool at the room temperature.

To prepare the cream, mix the milk, sugar, flour and starch in a deep pot by using a wire beater.
And cook it until it gets thick enough by stirring constantly.
Then turn of the stove and leave it to cool at the room temperature.
After it gets cool enough, add the vanilla and the whipped cream powder and mix by using a mixer for 2 or 3 minutes.

Put the cream in a pipping bag.
Cut the buns in half.
Place some cream filling on the half of the buns and them place the other half on the cream.
Continue with the left buns and cream.

Cook the chocolate sauce powder and the milk until it gets thick enough and leave it to cool by stirring occasionally.
After the cream gets cool enough, pour the sauce on the cream stuffed buns.
Decorate them by using grated coconut, crushed walnut or hazelnut, etc.
