Crispy Onion Rings Recipe
This crispy onion rings recipe is so easy, and so amazingly crispy and with this recipe you can make these crispy onion rings at home.
- 2 middle size onions.
For the sauce;
- 1 teacup of mineral water,
- 5 tablespoons of all purpose flour,
- 5 tablespoons of cornstarch,
- 1 egg,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- A half teaspoon of black pepper,
- Red pepper powder.
- Vegetable oil.
Process of Crispy Onion Rings Recipe
Firstly, we start by cutting the bottom and the top of the onion then cut the onions into rings. And separate them from each other very carefully. Leave the rings into salty water for almost 10 minutes then drain.
Prepare the sauce. Mix the flour, cornstarch, salt and the spices in a deep bowl. Add the egg and the mineral water and mix well.
To dip the rings, prepare the breadcrumbs in a bowl.
Dip the rings one at a time firstly in the sauce then coat in the breadcrumbs, shaking off any excess and fry. Fry both sides of the rings by turning them until the color turns golden brown.
Place them on a a plate lined with paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Then transfer them in a serving plate and serve hot with ketchup or garlic yogurt sauce. Enjoy!
