Crispy Pogaca With Kashar Recipe
This crispy pogaca recipe is a perfect appetizer. These delicious cheesy pogacas are a favorite breakfast or tea time treat.
For the dough;
- 1 cup of warm milk,
- A half cup of vegetable oil,
- 1 coffee spoon of instant yeast,
- 1,5 tablespoons of granulated sugar,
- 1 coffee spoon of salt (not fully),
- 2,5 – 3 cups of all purpose flour (the cup is: 200 ml.).
For the filling;
- Kashar cheese (diced).
For the top;
- 1 tablespoon of molasses,
- 1 teacup of water,
- Sesame (roasted).
Process of Crispy Pogaca With Kashar Recipe
Firstly, to prepare the dough, combine all the ingredients except for the yeast and the flour in a deep bowl.
Then add one cup of flour and one coffee spoon of yeast and start to knead.
Add the flour left slowly and knead well.
Get a soft but not sticky dough.
Cover the dough and leave it to rise for 40 minutes.
After the 40 minutes, take walnut sized pieces from the dough and roll them in your palm.
Make larger by pressing on the dough balls and place the filling in the center and enclose the filling and roll the dough in your palm.
Then dip the dough ball in molasses and then in sesame and place it on a baking sheet in a tray.
Continue with the other dough balls.
Then bake them in the preheated oven at 180°C until they get golden brown.
After baking, serve hot.
