Dill Pilaf Recipe
This is a quick and healthy dill pilaf recipe. Use this as a side dish to a meal and also you can eat this pilaf when it gets cool as a salad.
- 1 cup of rice (the cup size is 200 ml.),
- 1,5 cups of water or boiled chicken juice (300 ml.),
- 1 tablespoon of butter,
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 1 pinch of dill,
- 1 pinch of parsley.
Process of Dill Pilaf Recipe
Firstly, wash the rice and drain and leave the rice in a salty water for 10 minutes.
Add 2 or 3 drops of lemon juice in to the water.
After the ten minutes, wash the rice again and drain.
Put the butter and the vegetable oil in a pilaf pan and heat.
When the butter melts, add the rice.
Add the salt and cook by stirring.
Then add the water and leave it to boil.
After it starts to boil, cover the lid and continue to cook over low heat until it absorbs the juice.
When it absorbs the juice, mix the pilaf by stirring slowly and then cover the lid and leave it for 4 or 5 minutes.
Chop the parsley and the dill and add them in to the pilaf and mix well and leave it for more 3 or 4 minutes.
Then serve the pilaf hot.
This dill pilaf recipe is for 4 people.
If you desire, you can eat the pilaf when it gets cool as a salad.
