Easy Breakfast Rolls Recipe
It is very easy to do this easy breakfast rolls because there is no need to wait to raise for the dough.
For the dough;
- 125 grams of butter or margarine (melted),
- 1 teacup of vegetable oil (110 ml.),
- 2 eggs (one of the egg yolks is for the top),
- 2 tablespoons of yogurt (a full spoon),
- 1 coffee spoon of salt,
- 1,5 packets of baking powder (10 + 5 grams),
- 3 – 3,5 cups of all purpose flour (the cup size is 200 ml.).
For the filling;
- 1 bowl of curd cheese or feta cheese,
- 1 pinch of parsley.
For the top;
- Egg yolk.
Process of Easy Breakfast Rolls Recipe
Firstly, to prepare the dough, mix the melted butter or the margarine with yoghurt and the vegetable oil in a deep bowl by using a wire beater
Add the eggs and the salt and continue to mix.
Add the baking powder and add the flour slowly and knead well.
Get a soft but not sticky dough.
The amount of the flour can change according to the size of the eggs and how juicy the yogurt is.
To prepare the filling, mix the feta cheese or curd cheese and the chopped parsley in a small bowl.
Take mandarin size pieces from the dough and roll them in your palm.
Make the dough pieces larger by pressing on them with your hands on a plain surface.
Then place the filling in the centre of the dough and cover the filling with the other half of the dough and get an oval shaped dough.
Place the shaped doughs on a baking sheet in to a tray.
Brush the egg yolk on the pastries and make lines on them by using a fork.
Bake them in the preheated oven at 180°C until they get golden.
After baking, cover the pastries with a clean cloth and leave them in the tray.
Then serve hot.
