Easy Lemon Desserts Recipe
These easy lemon desserts are so delicious with lemon flavor and really an easy to make desserts. These are moist lemon cookies soaked in delicious lemon syrup. You will be addicted to these lemon desserts.
- 1 egg,
- 1 tablespoon of butter (30 grams),
- A half teacup of vegetable oil (55 ml.),
- 1 teacup of water (110 ml.),
- A half teacup of semolina (50 grams),
- 1 teacup of grated coconut (50 grams),
- 1 coffee spoon dry instant yeast,
- A half teaspoon of salt,
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda,
- 1 grated lemon peel,
- 2 cups of all purpose flour (300 grams).
For the syrup;
- 2 cups of granulated sugar,
- 2 cups of water (400 ml.),
- A quarter lemon juice.
Process of Easy Lemon Dessert Recipe
At first, prepare the lemon desserts dough. Combine all the ingredients except for the flour in a deep bowl. Then add the flour slowly and knead the dough. Get a soft dough.
Roll out the dough into a large circle with a rolling pin in 1 cm thickness. Cut the dough by using any cookie cutters you desire then cut the shaped dough by using a cover of a bottle.
Brush the egg yolk on them and dip them in sesame seeds. And then place them in a greased tray.
Bake them in the preheated oven at 170°C until they get slightly golden. Remove them from the oven and leave to cool.
Prepare the syrup. Combine all the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. After it starts to boil, simmer for more 5 or 6 minutes and then lower the heat. Add the cooled desserts in the syrup and leave them to absorb the syrup for 30 seconds.
Then take them out from the syrup and place in a separate tray or pyrex. At the end, pour the syrup left on the desserts.
When the lemon desserts get cool, serve.
