Easy Oil Sugar-Dipped Cookies Recipe
If you are looking for something a little different, yet traditional, these easy oil sugar-dipped cookies are perfect.
For the dough;
- 1 cup of vegetable oil,
- 1 cup of powdered sugar,
- 1 egg yolk (separate the egg white for its above),
- 1 cup of starch,
- 1 tea cup of yogurt (the tea cup size: 110 ml.),
- 5 grams of baking powder,
- 1 pinch of salt,
- 3 -3,5 cups of all-purpose flour
The cup size : 200 ml.
For its above;
- 1 egg white,
- Granulated sugar.
Process of Easy Oil Sugar-Dipped Cookies Recipe
For the dough, mix the vegetable oil, yogurt and egg yolk in a deep bowl.
Add starch, powdered sugar, baking powder and 1 pinch of salt into the mixture and mix.
Add the flour gradually and get a soft but not sticky dough.
Take walnut-sized pieces from the dough and roll them in the palm of your hand.
Dip them into the egg white and then granulated sugar.
Place them on the greased sheet tray.
Back them into the preheated 180°C oven until their bottoms get light brown (for 20 – 25 minutes).
Leave them into the tray to cool and then serve.
You get 29 – 30 cookies with this recipe and it can be changed according to the size of the dough balls.
