Fluffy Pastry Recipe
This is a really easy and quick fluffy pastry recipe. Low cost ingredients, delicious, fluffy pastry, and a sure way to impress your family and friends! Go ahead and try it!
For the dough;
- 1 egg white (the egg yolk is for the top),
- 3 tablespoons of yogurt,
- A half cup of vegetable oil,
- 1 tablespoon of butter (25 grams),
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar,
- A half packet of baking powder (1 coffee spoon),
- 1 coffee spoon of salt,
- 2,5 cups of all purpose flour (The cup is: 200 ml.).
For the filling;
- Feta cheese,
For the top;
- Egg yolk,
- Sesame seeds.
Process of Fluffy Pastry Recipe
Firstly, to prepare the filling, mix the feta cheese and the chopped parsley in a small bowl.
Then, to prepare the dough, combine all the ingedients except for the flour in a deep bowl.
Add the flour slowly and knead well.
Get a soft but not sticky dough.
Take walnut size pieces from the dough and roll them in your palm.
Make larger the dough pieces in your palm by using your fingers.
Place some of the filling in the center of the dough.
Enclose the filling.
Press the edges together firmly and make a oval shaped pastry.
Place the pastries on a baking sheet in a tray.
Brush the egg yolk on the pastries and sprinkle sesame on them.
Bake the pastries in the preheated oven at 180°C until they get golden brown.
