Fluffy Pastry without Yeast Recipe

Ingredients;
For the dough;
- A half packet of margarine (at the room temperature) (125 grams),
- 1 teacup of vegetable oil (110 ml.),
- 1 teacup of yogurt,
- A coffee spoon of salt (not fully),
- 1 packet of baking powder (10 grams),
- 3,5 cups of all purpose flour (the cup is 200 ml.).
For the filling;
- 1 bowl of feta cheese,
- 1 pinch of parsley.
To dip;
- 1 egg white,
- Breadcrumbs.
Process of Fluffy Pastry without Yeast Recipe
Firstly, combine all the ingredients except for the flour and baking powder in a deep bowl.
Add the baking powder and add the flour slowly and knead.
Get a soft but not sticky dough (as a cookie dough).
To prepare the filling, mix the chopped parsley and feta cheese in a bowl.
Put the egg yolk in a bowl and put the breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.
Take walnut sized pieces from the dough and roll them in your palm.
Make larger in your palm by pressing on it and place some filling in the centre of the dough.
Cover the filling with the other half of the dough and gently press on the edges, like a half moon.
Dip one side of the shaped doughs firstly in the egg white then in breadcrumbs.
And place them on a baking sheet in to a tray.
Bake them in the preheated oven at 180°C until their tops get lightly brown.
After baking, serve.
