Fried Dessert Dough Recipe
Finish off your meal with these delicious desserts, all fried to perfection. Here is the fried dessert dough recipe.
For the dough;
- 1 egg,
- 1 teacup of yogurt (the teacup is: 110 ml.),
- 10 grams baking powder (1 packet),
- 1 teacup of vegetable oil,
- 2 – 2,5 cups of all purpose flour (the cup is: 200 ml.).
For the syrup;
- 2 cups of granulated sugar,
- 1,5 cups of water,
- 4 – 5 drops of lemon juice.
- Vegetable oil
Process of Fried Dessert Dough Recipe
Firstly, to prepare the syrup, mix the sugar and the water until the sugar dissolves.
Then leave it to boil.
After it starts to boil, add the lemon juice and continue to boil for more 10 minutes over low heat.
Turn off the stove and leave it to cool.
To prepare the dough, combine all the ingredients except for the flour in a deep bowl.
Add the flour slowly and knead well.
Get a soft but not sticky dough.
Place the dough on a slightly floured plain surface and sprinkle very little amount of flour on the dough.
Roll out the dough (not very thin or not very thick).
Cut the dough in squares (medium size).
Then press the center of the cut sheets and make it like bow tie.
Fry the dessert dough in vegetable oil by turning them.
After they get golden brown in the oil then place them in the cool syrup.
Turn them in syrup once or twice and then place them in the serving plate.
Sprinkle crushed walnut, hazelnut or etc. and serve your fried dessert dough.
