Fruit Custard Recipe
Have you ever tried fruit custard in cake mold. It sound and looks so tasty. Try it! This keeps well for several days in the refrigerator.
- 1 pear,
- 1 peach,
- 10 biscuits,
- 1 bowl of black grapes,
- 1 bowl of seedless grapes,
For the custard;
- 5 cups of milk (1 liter),
- 1 cup of granulated sugar,
- 4 tablespoons of all purpose flour,
- 3 tablespoons of starch,
- 1 tablespoon of butter,
- 1 tablespoon of grated orange peel.
How to Make Fruit Custard
Prepare the custard. Put the sugar, flour and the starch in a pot. Add the milk slowly by stirring constantly until smooth. At medium heat, cook it by stirring constantly until it gets thick. When it gets thick low the heat. Stir in the grated lemon peel and butter until the butter melted. Remove it from the heat and leave to warm.
And then add in the chopped bite sized fruits and biscuits and mix. Pour the custard in a water-soaked silicone cake mold and evenly spread.
When it gets cool at the room temperature, keep it in refrigerator for 4-5 hours.
At the end of the time, remove the custard out from the cake mold by turning it on a serving plate. Then decorate the fruit custard how you like and serve. Enjoy!
