Green Bean Casserole with Beef Recipe
This is an excellent and tasty casserole! It’s so easy to make, you can serve it any day. You do not have to wait for the weekend to cook this dish. Here is the my green bean casserole with beef recipe.
- 1 kilo fresh green beans,
- 500 grams bite sized beef,
- 1 onion,
- 3 – 4 cloves of garlic,
- 1 tablespoon of paste (mix the tomato paste and the pepper paste),
- 1 tomato,
- 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 1 coffee spoon of salt,
- Red pepper flakes,
- 4 cups of hot water (the cup is: 200 ml.).
Process of Green Bean Casserole with Beef Recipe
Firstly, wash the fresh green beans well and drain and trim them.
Chop the onions and the cloves of garlic.
Heat the casserole over medium heat and put 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Cook the chopped onions and the garlic in the casserole by stirring.
Add the bite sized beef and continue to cook by stirring until the color of the beef changes.
Add the paste and continue to cook by stirring.
Then add the fresh green beans and stir.
Finally add the diced tomato, red pepper flakes and hot water and stir again.
Cover the lid and leave the casserole to boil at high heat over the medium size stove.
After it starts to boil, lower the heat and leave it to cook over low heat for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, remove the casserole from the stove and serve the dish hot.
