Process of Mashed Potato Balls with Yogurt Sauce Recipe
Firstly, peel the potatoes and wash them then cut them in big pieces and put them in a pot.
Add water and salt and leave it to boil until the potatoes get tender.
When the potatoes get tender enough, drain and mash them by using a fork while they are still hot.
Add the chopped parsley and the spices and mix them well.
Take small pieces from the potato mixture and roll them in your palm.
To prepare the yogurt sauce, mix the yogurt, the grated clove of garlic and a flick of salt in a bowl.
Melt the butter in a small pan and add the red pepper flakes in and cook by stirring for a while.
Place the potato balls in a serving plate then pour the yogurt sauce on them and pour the butter and the red pepper flakes mixture on.
Then serve the delicious balls.
Not: Drain the water as soon as possible after you boil the potatoes. Otherwise the potatoes absorb the water and when you mash them the mashed potatoes mixture gets runny.
