Mashed Potato Beef Kebab Recipe

Ingredients;
For the ground beef mixture;
- 500 grams ground beef,
- 1 onion,
- 1 pinch of parsley,
- 2-3 cloves of garlic,
- 1 egg,
- A half cup of breadcrumbs,
- Salt,
- Black pepper,
- Crushed red pepper.
For the mashed potato;
- 5 – 6 potatoes,
- 2 cups of milk,
- 2 tablespoons of butter,
- 1 cup of grated cottage cheese,
- Salt,
- Black pepper.
For the sauce;
- 1 and a half more tablespoons of tomato paste,
- 2 cups of hot water.
For the top;
- Tomatoes,
- Pepper.
The cup is 200 ml.
Process of Mashed Potato Beef Kebab Recipe
Firstly, wash and peel the potatoes and chop them in big size then boil them in the salty water.
To prepare the ground beef mixture, put the ground beef in a deep bowl.
Chop the onion, garlic and parsley in a chopper then add them in the bowl.
And add the eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper and knead.
Place the ground beef mixture in a big rectangular pyrex and spread.
To prepare the sauce, mix the hot water and the paste in a bowl then pour it on the ground beef mixture in the pyrex.
Bake it in the preheated oven at 170°C until it gets lightly brown and absorbs the water.
While the ground beef mixture is in the oven, drain the potatoes and mash them in a bowl.
Add the butter while it is still hot.
And add the salt and mix them.
Pour the milk slowly and mix it until it gets creamy.
Finally add the grated cottage cheese and mix again.
Take the ground beef mixture out from the oven and spread the mashed potato on it.
To decorate, place tomato and pepper slices on it and bake it again until the tomato slices get tender and the kebab gets golden.
After baking, slice the mashed potato beef kebab and serve hot.
