Process of Meatballs on Tile Plate with Sauce and Kashar Recipe
At first, prepare the meatballs. Put the ground beef in a deep bowl. Add the chopped onions and peppers. Then add the salt, thyme and breadcrumbs and knead. If you have time, leave it in to the fridge for 1 or 2 hours.
Take middle sized pieces from the meatball mixture and make them into oval shape. Place the meatballs in to the cooking tile and bake them into the preheated oven to 200°C until lightly golden.
While cooking the meatballs, grate 2 tomatoes and the garlic and chop the peppers in a saucepan. By adding vegetable oil, cook the sauce until the tomatoes get soft enough. Put the salt into the sauce. If the sauce gets so thick, you can add some water.
After the meatballs are cooked, pour the sauce on them.
At the end, put some grated kashar cheese on them and bake it until the cheese melted. Remove the meatballs from the oven and serve hot.
