No Yeast Rolls with Mineral Water Recipe
Here is a must try pastry recipe for you! It is so soft as it contains mineral water and also very easy to do. Here is our no yeast rolls recipe.
For the dough;
- 1 egg white (the egg yolk is for the top),
- 150 grams of butter or margarine (melted),
- 1 teacup of vegetable oil (the cup size is: 110 ml. / 3.7 oz),
- 1 teacup of yogurt,
- 1 teacup of mineral water,
- 1 packet of baking powder (10 grams),
- 1/3 spoon of salt,
- 1/2 spoon of vinegar,
- 5 cups of all purpose flour (the cup size is 200 ml. / 6.8 oz).
For the filling;
- Feta or curd cheese.
- 1 pinch of parsley.
For the top;
- 1 egg yolk,
- Sesame seeds.
Process of No Yeast Rolls with Mineral Water Recipe
Firstly, to prepare the dough, melt the butter or margarine and put it in a deep bowl.
Add the vegetable oil, mineral water, yogurt, egg white, vinegar, salt, baking powder and mix them.
Add the flour slowly and knead well.
Get a soft but not sticky dough.
Cover the dough with a plastic wrap and leave it in the fridge for one night.
The next day, take the dough out from the fridge and leave it at the room temperature.
To prepare the filling, mix the chopped parsley and feta in a small bowl.
Take mandarin size pieces from the dough and roll them in your palm.
Make the dough pieces larger and flatten on a plain surface by using your fingers.
Place some filling in the center of the round dough.
Then enclose the filling by making the edges coming together and place the rolls on a baking sheet in to a tray (the edges should be underneath while placing them in the tray).
Brush the egg yolk on the rolls and make + lines by pressing a knife on them and sprinkle some sesame seeds on them.
Bake them in the preheated oven at 180°C until they get golden brown.
After baking, serve them.
