Poached Eggs with Garlic Yogurt Recipe
Poached eggs with garlic yogurt is a perfect dish to sop up with warm bread. The perfect harmony of eggs, yogurt, and red pepper flakes is simply delicious. It’s easy to make, very light, and yummy.
- 3 eggs (the number of the eggs depends on you),
- 5-6 cups of water,
- 1 coffee spoon of salt,
- 1 coffee spoon of apple vinegar.
For the yogurt sauce;
- 2 cups of yogurt,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
For the top;
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil ,
- Red pepper flakes,
- Dried mint.
Process of Poached Eggs with Garlic Yogurt Recipe
Firstly, mix the yogurt in a deep bowl by using a wire beater until it gets smooth.
Add the salt and the grated cloves of garlic and mix them by stirring.
Pour the sauce in a serving plate.
Pour the water in a large pot and add the salt and the vinegar then leave it to boil.
When it starts to boil, lower the heat and crack the eggs in.
Cook them for 4-5 minutes.
Take them with slotted spoon on the yogurt in the serving plate.
On a skillet heat the vegetable oil. When it sizzles add the red pepper flakes.
Stir for half a minute or less (just don’t let it burn) and pour it on top of eggs and yogurt.
Sprinkle mint flakes on top.
