Process of Poppy Seed Rolls Recipe
Prepare the dough. Put all the ingredients except for the flour into a deep bowl and mix them. Then add flour gradually into the mixture and knead. Stop adding the flour while the dough is enough sticky. Cover the dough and leave it to rise.
Prepare the filling. Put the 2 tablespoons of poppy butter in a bowl and add the sugar and the oil (almost 5 tablespoons). Then mix them well.
Take the dough onto a floured work surface and roll the dough out with the help of a rolling pin. Then sprinkle some flour on the dough and roll the dough out as much as you can do (The thinner the sheet, the better it is).
Spread the poppy butter mixture evenly on the sheet and roll the sheet. Leaving 2 cm. borders slice the rolled sheet. And place the pieces on the baking sheet in to the tray.
Leave the pieces into the tray for 30 minutes to rise before baking. Bake them into the preheated oven to 190°C until golden. Then take them out and serve warm.
