Puff Pastry Bundles with Ground Beef Recipe
Puff pastry bundles with ground beef filling make an easy but delicious appetizers or evening snacks!
- 10 puff pastry sheets.
For the filling;
- 100 grams of ground beef,
- 1 onion,
- 4-5 green peppers,
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt,
- Black pepper,
- Vegetable oil.
For the top;
- 1 egg,
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil,
- Sesame seeds.
Sauce with eggplant;
- 2 eggplants,
- 5-6 green peppers,
- 3 tomatoes,
- 3 cloves of garlic,
- Vegetable oil,

Prepare the filling. Chop the peppers and the onion and put them in a pan.
Add the vegetable oil and the salt and cook by stirring until they get tender.
Add the ground beef and continue to cook until it absorbs the juice.
Finally add the spices and remove it from the stove and leave it to cool.
Place the filling in the center of the puff pastry sheets and make the edges come together and press firmly and place the pastries on a baking sheet in a tray.
Brush the egg yolk and the vegetable oil mixture on them and sprinkle some sesame seeds.
Then bake them in the preheated oven at 200°C until they get golden brown.
To prepare the eggplant sauce, cut stalks of eggplants and peel them striped and cut them lengthwise.
Then leave them in the salty water.
Take the cores of the peppers out and cut them in big size.
Fry the eggplant slices (fry both sides).
Then fry the peppers.
Pour the oil in an another pot (you fry the vegetables in).
Put the fried vegetables in to the frying pan and add the diced tomatoes and cut in small size cloves of garlic.
Add some salt and cover the lid and cook over low heat until the tomatoes get tender.
Pour some eggplant sauce in a serving plate and place one of the puff pastry bundle on the sauce and serve hot.
