Red Cabbage Salad Recipe
Red Cabbage Salad is a beautiful salad that keeps well for a few days in the refrigerator. For best results, make sure to shred the cabbage very thinly. It is a very healthy salad tastes as pickle.
- 1 medium size red cabbage,
- 2 tablespoon vinegar,
- Salt (2 teaspoon but you can add how much you like),
- 1 lemon juice,
- A half teacup olive oil or vegetable oil,
- 1 tablespoon pomegranate syrup,
- A half bunch parsley,
- A half bunch dill.
Process of Red Cabbage Salad Recipe
Firstly, chop the cabbage finely and put them into a deep bowl.
Add the vinegar and salt and make them tender by mixing with your hands.
Rub the salt into cabbage with your hands.
Chop the dill and parsley and add them.
At the end add the pomegranate syrup, lemon juice and vegetable oil.
Mix all of them and serve.
Rubbing the salt into cabbage with your hands is very important. This makes the taste of the salad like pickle.
You can serve the salad with meat or pilaf.
