Rice Pilaf with Peas Recipe
This is a quick and healthy rice pilaf recipe. Create a new family favourite with this rice pilaf with peas.
- 1 cup of rice,
- 1,5 cups of water or boiled chicken juice (300 ml.),
- 1 tablespoon of butter,
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 1,5 cups of peas,
The cup size is 200 ml.
Process of Rice Pilaf with Peas Recipe
Firstly, wash the rice and drain then leave them in the water for 30 minutes.
Then wash the rice again and drain.
Put the butter and the vegetable oil in a saucepan and heat.
Add the rice and add the salt.
Cook the rice by stirring frequently.
Then add the peas and stir it.
Finally pour the water and leave it to boil.
If needed, add some more salt.
After it starts to boil, lower the heat and cover the lid. Cook it until it absorbs the water.
When it absorbs the water, turn off the stove and stir the pilaf.
Then again cover the lid and leave it for 10 minutes.
And serve the rice pilaf with peas hot.
The water you leave the rice in or you add in the saucepan should not be hot water.
