Soft Butter Rolls Recipe

- 1 teacup of warm water (the teacup is: 110 ml.),
- 1 teacup of warm milk,
- 125 grams butter,
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar,
- 1 egg white (the egg yolk is for the top),
- 10 grams of instant yeast (1 packet),
- 1 coffee spoon of salt,
- 4 cups of all purpose flour (the cup is 200 ml.).
For the filling;
- 150 grams feta cheese or curd cheese,
For the top;
- Egg yolk,
- Sesame seeds.
Process of Soft Butter Rolls Recipe
Firstly, combine the milk and the water and heat both of them.
Combine all the ingredients you need for the dough except for the flour and the yeast in a deep bowl.
And then add the yeast and add the flour slowly and knead well.
Cover the dough and leave it to rise for 30 minutes.
To prepare the filling, mix the cheese and the chopped parsley in a small bowl.
Take small pieces from the dough and roll them in your palm.
Press slightly on the dough and make larger and place the filling in the center of it then enclose the filling.
Press the edges together firmly and place them in a greased tray.
Brush egg yolk on them and make lines on them by using a fork.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on them and bake them in the oven at 180°C for almost 20 or 25 minutes.
When they get golden brown, take them out from the oven and serve.
This soft butter rolls recipe is for 20 butter rolls.
Note: Before baking, leave the dough in the tray to rise for 30 minutes.
If you do not have time, then heat the oven to 50°C and leave the tray in it for 5 or 10 minutes before baking at 180°C.
