Ingredients;

  • 1 cup of powdered sugar,
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour,
  • 4 eggs,
  • 1 packet of baking powder (10 grams),
  • 1 packet of vanilla (5 grams).

To make the cake wet;

  • 3 cups of cold milk (600 ml.),
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar (don’t make it full, leave 2 cm. space).

For the custard;

  • 1 liter milk,
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar,
  • 3 tablespoons of all purpose flour,
  • 2 tablespoons of corn starch,
  • 1 packet of vanilla (5 grams),
  • 1 packet of whipped cream (75 grams).

For its above;

  • Grated coconut.

The cup size is 200 ml.

Process of the Best Moist Custard Cake Recipe

Prepare the custard cake mixture. In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar, till they become foamy. Add the vanilla, baking powder and flour and mix well. Pour the mixture into the large greased rectangular pyrex (40*27).

Preheat the oven to 175°C and bake the cake for 30 minutes. Then take it out and leave it to cool.

To make the cake wet, pour the cold milk into a deep bowl and add the sugar. Stir until the sugar melts. Pour the mixture on the cool cake evenly. Leave to absorb the milk.

Prepare the custard. Mix all the ingredients except for the whipped cream into a pot. Cook until it thickens by stirring constantly. Remove the pot and let it get warm. Then add the whipped cream and mix well.

Pour the custard on to the cake absorbed the milk and evenly spread it.

To decorate the moist custard cake, sprinkle coconut on the top of it and put it into the fridge for 2 or 3 hours.

After it gets cool, slice it and serve. Enjoy!
