Tomato Bulgur Pilaf Recipe
The dishes are ready, then now cook a delicious pilaf and serve your delicious dish with a side salad and this wonderful tomato bulgur pilaf.

Ingredients;
- 2 cups of coarse bulgur wheat,
- 1 onion,
- 1 tablespoon of butter,
- 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 1 big size tomato,
- 2-3 pepper,
- 1 and a half more tablespoons of paste (If you want, you can mix some pepper paste and tomato paste),
- Salt,
- Basil (If you want, you can add.),
- 4 – 4 and a half more cups of water or boiled chicken juice (the cup is 200 ml.).
Process of Tomato Bulgur Pilaf Recipe
Firstly, add vegetable oil and finely chopped onions and cook by stirring.
Add the butter and the paste and continue to cook by stirring.
Add the diced tomato and cook by stirring for more 1 minute.
Then add the rinsed and drained coarse bulgur and stir.
Finally pour 4 cups of hot water, salt and the basil then stir.
Cover and leave it to boil.
After it starts to boil, make the heat low and cook it until it absorbs the water and gets tender enough.
While cooking, control the pilaf and if necessary add some water.
When the pilaf absorbs the water, turn off the stove but not open.
Leave it for 10 or 15 minutes before serving without opening.
Serve the delicious tomato bulgur pilaf hot with your dishes especially with chicken and grilled meat.
If you’re not familiar with bulgur, it is a whole grain that resembles quinoa. It is healthier than white rice, containing much more fiber and protein.
