Turkish Delight (Princess Delight) Recipe
If you like Turkish desserts, you will also love this dessert. This taste amazes you as a “Princess” with enrichment of the Turkish delight with coconut, milk and semolina. Give it a try!
- 2 cups of milk (400 ml.),
- 1 and a half teacup of semolina (165 ml.),
- 1 tablespoon of butter,
- 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar,
- Coconut flakes.
Process of Turkish Delight (Princess Delight) Recipe
To prepare the Turkish Delight, firstly, place the semolina, sugar and milk in a saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened. Then add the butter and stir. Remove from the heat and let cool completely.
Form smooth walnut-size balls out of the custard and dip them into coconut and put them into the service plate. Put the princess delights into the fridge for 1 or 2 hours and then serve it.
If the sugar is not enough for you, you can add much more before the mixture boil. While rolling the custard, wetting your hands will prevent the custard from sticking.
