Process of Turkish Ramadan Pita Bread (Flat Bread) Recipe

Firstly, except for the flour and the yeast, combine all the other ingredients in a deep bowl.
Then add the yeast and add the flour slowly.
Knead the dough and get a soft and lightly sticky dough.
Cover the dough and leave it to rise.
Divide the dough into two pieces and place them into 2 separate greased tray.
Cover them and leave them to rise again.

Shape your bread loaves using your fingers. Make each loaf flat round.
Using a sharp knife, first cut about 1 inch in from the edge to make a circle all the way around the loaf.
Then, inside the circle, make diagonal cuts in opposite directions to make a diamond pattern.
Do the same with the other loaf.

In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt and egg. Using a pastry brush, coat the top of the loaves generously with the yogurt-egg mixture.
Sprinkle the sesame seeds and black cumin seeds evenly over the tops.

Bake the flat bread in the preheated oven at 190°C until they get golden brown for almost 20 or 25 minutes.
