Volcano Cake with Chocolate Sauce Recipe

There are essentially two types of guests; expected and unexpected! Volcano cake with chocolate sauce recipe is especially for the second one:) It is an easy and quick recipe that looks wonderful but requires a very little time. Children love the cake most! If you want to make a surprise for your children then let’s make the cake.

Ingredients;

1 sponge cake base (pasta-ban).

For the lava;

  • 2 packets of whipped cream (75 + 75 grams),
  • 1 and a half more cup milk (300 ml.) (to prepare the whipped cream),
  • 1 packet biscuit,
  • A half tea cup chocolate drops.

To make the cake wet;

  • 1 cup of milk (200 ml.).

For the top;

  • Chocolate sauce,
  • Shredded coconut.

Process of Volcano Cake with Chocolate Sauce Recipe

Firstly, prepare the whipped cream for the volcano cake. Mix the milk and the whipped cream in a deep bowl until it gets foamy.

Crush the biscuits (make the biscuits little pieces by using your hands) and add them into the whipped cream. After that, add the chocolate drops and stir with the help of a spatula.

Place the half of the sponge cake base on a serving plate and make it wet with the milk. Pour the whipped cream mixture on it. Make the middle of the mixture high like a hill.

Make also wet the other half of the cake base and cut it into 4 pieces and then cut each pieces in half and get 8 triangles.

Pour the chocolate sauce in a large plate and also put the shredded coconut into a separate plate.

Dip one side of the each triangle slice firstly into the chocolate sauce and then into the shredded coconut. Place the slice on the whipped cream. After you finish the dipping and placing the slices, pour the chocolate sauce in the middle of the cake.

Leave the volcano cake into the fridge for 2 hours and then slice and serve.

Note: You can decorate your volcano cake with chocolate sauce with shredded coconut colored in red with the red food dye. And if you make the cake the night before, it will be more delicious. The more it waits after made, the more delicious it is.
