White Beans and Beef Recipe
An easy meal for any night of the week. White beans and beef, quickly prepared with white beans, beef, onion and red bell pepper.
- 3 cups of boiled white beans,
- 300 grams bite sized beef,
- 1 onion,
- 1 red bell pepper,
- 4 – 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste,
- 1 coffee spoon of pepper paste,
- 5 cups of hot water (1 liter),
Process of White Beans and Beef Recipe
If you do not have boiled beans, wash 3 cups of beans and put them in a pressure cooker and pour water.
Add a half teaspoon of carbonate (it helps them cook fast).
Boil the beans for 10 or 15 minutes and add a cup of cold water then leave them.
If the beans do not get tender enough, boil for 5 minutes more and drain.
Heat an empty pot over stove and add the bite sized beef and cook over high heat by stirring until the color of beef changes.
The beef loses less juice and cooks fast and gets tender.
After the beef absorbs the juice add 4 or 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil and cook by stirring for 1 minute.
Then add the chopped onion and pepper.
Add the paste and continue to cook by stirring.
Add the white beans, water and salt and leave it to boil.
After it starts to boil, leave it for 10 minutes and then turn off the stove.
And serve hot.
