Yogurt Soup with Ground Beef Recipe
For almost every dinner, especially in cooler months, people generally start with a soup. This simple but delicious yogurt soup with ground beef is worth to try because it is very nutritious as well as satisfying.
- 50 grams ground beef,
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil,
- A half teacup of rice,
- 7 cups of water,
For the creamy sauce;
- 1 cup of yogurt,
- 1 egg,
- 1 tablespoon of flour.
Sauce for the top;
- 1 onion,
- 4 – 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 1 coffee spoon of tomato paste (not fully),
The cup size is: 200 ml.
The teacup size is: 110 ml.
Process of Yogurt Soup with Ground Beef Recipe
Firstly, put the vegetable oil in a pot and the ground beef and cook by stirring.
Then add 3 cups of water and the rice.
After it starts to boil, continue to cook until the rices get tender.
To prepare the creamy sauce, mix the yogurt, egg and flour in a bowl by using wire beater.
When the rices get tender enough, add 4 cups cold water and pour the yogurt mixture in it by stirring.
If the soup gets so thick, add some more water.
And add the salt and cook by stirring until it boils.
When it starts to boil, turn off the stove.
To prepare the sauce, peel the onion and chop finely.
Cook the chopped onion by adding the vegetable oil in a pan.
Cook the onions until they get tender.
Then add the paste and cook by stirring.
And after adding the mint, turn off the stove.
While serving the yogurt soup in a bowl, pour some sauce on it.
If you want, you can pour all of the sauce into the soup and mix then serve.
