Yummy Apple Pie Recipe
Imagine apple, walnut and cinnamon gives a nice flavor to dessert recipes together! In this yummy apple pie recipe you will find their wonderful combination.
For the filling;
- 4 big apples,
- 1 teacup of granulated sugar,
- 1 coffee spoon of cinnamon,
- 2 tablespoons of walnut.
For the dough;
- 2 eggs,
- 1 cup of granulated sugar,
- 1 packet of baking powder (10 grams),
- 125 grams butter or margarine (at the room temperature).
- 1 teacup of vegetable oil (110 ml.),
- 1 packet of vanilla (5 grams),
- 4 – 4 1/2 cups of all purpose flour (the cup is 200 ml.).
Process of Yummy Apple Pie Recipe
Firstly, prepare the filling. Peel the apples and grate them. Add the sugar and cook until it absorbs the juice. After it absorbs the juice and gets tender enough, add the cinnamon and walnuts and stir. Turn off the stove and leave it to cool.
To prepare the apple pie dough, mix the eggs and the sugar. Then add the margarine, vegetable oil, vanilla and the baking powder and stir. Add the flour slowly into the mixture and knead the dough until you get a soft cookie dough. The amount of the flour can change so add the flour slowly.
Take an apple size piece from the dough. And place the dough left in to a large round pyrex and spread it with your palm. Then place the filling on it and spread. Grate the apple size dough you separated before on the filling.
Bake the pie in to the preheated oven to 180°C until the crust gets golden brown. After baking, leave the apple pie at the room temperature for half an hour. Slice the pie and dust with icing sugar before serving.
Note: There is no need to grease the pyrex because the dough is not sticky. (The pyrex :30 cm.)
